LAVERNA M. CLARK

KELSO -- Laverna Mae Clark, 70, of Kelso, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 11, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward and Lydia Staebel Eifert. She and Woodrow Persian Clark were married June 3, 1947. He died Jan. 23, 1977.

Clark had worked in the housekeeping department at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church here.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie and Michael Clark of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Pat O'Gara and Shirley Raines of Scott City, and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and brother.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church. The Rev. John Westhues will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 5:30 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7.
