SIKESTON -- Terry Wilburn, 39, of Sikeston, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 30, 1953, at Sikeston son of Melvin and Bessie Wilburn.

He married Barbara Overton on Dec. 23, 1987. She survives.

He was a member of the Sandy Woods Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by the Daily Sikeston Standard as sports writer.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Wilburn and Michael Tidwell of the home; three daughters, Belinda Overton, Ashley Wilburn of the home, and Karri Wilburn of Sikeston; and a brother Charles Wilburn of Sikeston.

Service will be held Monday at Ponder Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dickie McClendon officiating.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
