JOHN B. MUENCH

FARRAR -- John B. Muench, 82, of Farrar died Friday, Jan. 22, 1993, at Cape LaCroix Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 15, 1910 in St. Louis County, son of Emanuel and Barbara Buettner Muench.

He married Norma Olga Schuessler on April 17, 1932. She survives of Farrar.

Also surviving are seven sons, the Rev. Herbert Muench of Evansville, Ind., LeRoy, George and Charles Muench, all of Cissna Park, Ill., the Rev. Paul Muench of Aurora, Ill., Palmer Muench of Cape Girardeau, and John M. Muench of Farrar; one daughter, Barbara Blackwell of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Carolyn Burns of Fort Worth, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar and the Salem Men's Club. He was a retired truck driver.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville from 3-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-8 a.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with the Rev. Bertram Schirmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
