DOROTHY J. SULLIVAN

Funeral service for Dorothy Jeanette Sullivan, 2115 Good Hope, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Leland Holland will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to service time.

Sullivan, 56, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1993, at her home.

She was born Sept. 16, 1936, at Fornfelt, daughter of Barney Lawrence and Ora Greenlee Dunning Beggs. She and Leon Carl Sullivan were married June 26, 1953, in Cape Girardeau.

Formerly of Scott City, Sullivan was a member of Illmo Baptist Church, Elks Ladies Auxiliary at Chaffee, and had been active in Girl Scouts.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Danny Sullivan of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Joni Huckstep of Jefferson City, Tina Graham of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Earl Dunning of St. Louis, David Beggs of Grand Tower, Ill., James Beggs of Jackson; three sisters, Virginia Webb of Granite City, Ill., Thelma Tucker of McClure, Ill., Barbara Tanner of Cape Girardeau, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and daughter.
