He was born July 4, 1943, in Anna, son of Neal and Etta Mae Walker.

Walker was a machine adjuster at Olin Brass Mill in East Alton.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Walker of Brighton, Gary Walker of Maryville, Scottie Walker of South Roxana; his mother of McClure; two sisters, Sharon White of McClure, Doris Coleman of East Alton, and five grandchildren.
