Williamson, 67, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1993, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

He was born July 25, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, son of Garnet and Agnes Headrick Williamson. On June 8, 1945, he married Wanda Vancil in Cape Girardeau.

Williamson was a life-long resident of Cape Girardeau, and in 1941 was a member of Central High School's only undefeated and untied football team. He also played American Legion baseball and for the semi-professional Capahas team in Cape Girardeau for many years.

He owned and operated Williamson Typewriter Co. more than 20 years, and later operated Kimric TV Repair prior to his retirement in November 1992. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Williamson served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick Williamson of Malden; a daughter, Kimberlee Sanlin of St. Louis; his parents of Cape Girardeau, and a brother, Jim Williamson of Cape Girardeau.
