ADVANCE -- Oma Susan Nelson, 86, of Advance, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 1, 1906, near Advance, daughter of William Melton and Eliza Burchett Nelson. Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Bess of Dexter; a grandson, and four great-grandchildren...
ADVANCE -- Oma Susan Nelson, 86, of Advance, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 1, 1906, near Advance, daughter of William Melton and Eliza Burchett Nelson.
Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Bess of Dexter; a grandson, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
