DONGOLA, Ill. -- Lora Welch Seward, 81, of Dongola, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1993, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born Jan. 16, 1912, in Mound City, daughter of James and Margaret May Leatherland. Survivors include two daughters, Beulah Lackey of Mound City, Jeanette Phillips of Olive Branch; four sons, Carl Welch of Fraser, Mich., Elmer Welch of Littleville, Ky., Sylvester Welch of Shawneetown, Gary Welch of Dongola; 20 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Lora Welch Seward, 81, of Dongola, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1993, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Jan. 16, 1912, in Mound City, daughter of James and Margaret May Leatherland.

Survivors include two daughters, Beulah Lackey of Mound City, Jeanette Phillips of Olive Branch; four sons, Carl Welch of Fraser, Mich., Elmer Welch of Littleville, Ky., Sylvester Welch of Shawneetown, Gary Welch of Dongola; 20 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Michael Williams will officiate, with burial in Beechwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
