CHAFFEE -- Sue Wachter, 60, of Chaffee Route 1, died at 2:37 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 1993, in Southeast Missouri Hospital at Cape Girardeau.

She was born in Chaffee Dec. 11, 1932, daughter of Robert and Eileen Proffer Redfern.

She married Bob Wachter Jan. 6, 1951.

She owned and operated Wachter Accounting Co. in Chaffee for 30 years. She was president of the Chaffee Alumni Association and was a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners. She was a member of the Chaffee High School Booster Club.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Scott Wachter, Chaffee Route 1; a daughter, Suzanne Hart, Sikeston; a brother, Robert E. Redfern, Chaffee Route 1; a sister, Becky Dalton, Chaffee Route 1; and three grandchildren;

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.

Grave-side service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
