PAUL T. POLEY JR.

EAST PRAIRIE -- Paul Thomas Poley Sr., 60, of Grand Chain, Ill., formerly of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 26, 1932, at Wolf Island, son of George and Lucy Mae Coffer Poley. He and Geraldine Blevins were married Dec. 28, 1953.

Poley was a self-employed farmer, and member of Wolf Island Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul Poley Jr. of Grand Chain; his parents of East Prairie; a brother, David Poley of Arnold; two sisters, Betty Allen and Wilma Sterling of Arnold, and two grandsons.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. George White will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
