JUANITA CRAWFORD

SIKESTON -- Juanita Crawford, 83, of Kennett, formerly of Sikeston, died Monday, March 1, 1993, at Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett.

She was born July 29, 1909, at Fisk, daughter of Cooper and Zula Pruitt. She and James D. Crawford were married in 1927 in Mississippi County. He died Nov. 23, 1962.

Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Crawford of Morley, George and Ray Crawford of Sikeston, Dan Crawford of Kennett; five daughters, Dorothy Florence, Linda Cole and Ruth Jeffries of Sikeston, Joan Porche of Raceland, La., Juanita Robison of Kenaii, Alaska; 24 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Dean Payne will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.
