CARL L. TAYLOR

BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Carl Lee Taylor of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dolan Rogers will officiate, with burial in Mounds Cemetery near Lilbourn.

Taylor, 81, died Tuesday, March 30, 1993, at his home.

He was born Aug. 10, 1911, in Winston County, Ala., son of John Henry and Lydia King Taylor. He and Ruby Henson were married in 1931. She died in 1934.

Taylor was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Staples of Charleston; two brothers, Earl Taylor of St. Louis, J.C. Taylor of Herrin, Ill.; two sisters, Ettis Ditto of East Prairie, Willa Green of St. Louis; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
