Wesley Tidwell, 81, of Millersville died April 19, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1911, near Union City, Tenn., the son of Noke Tidwell and Ethel Ledbetter Tidwell. He married Ella Uhl on July 11, 1943. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rick Tidwell of Millersville and Dale Tidwell of Fredericktown; five sisters, Naomi Bryant of Plymouth, Mich., Alean Hagans of Union City, Tenn., Mamie Lee Kindell of Fulton, Tenn., and Thelma Edelman and Henrietta Tidwell, both of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren and two great-grandsons.. ...

He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

He worked at Coca-Cola Bottling in Poplar Bluff, at 7-Up Bottling in St. Louis, and at Mercantile Bank and Federal Pacific Electric, both in St. Louis.

He retired in 1970.

He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in St. Louis. He had been living at Route 1, Millersville, for the past 10 years.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McComb's Funeral Chapel in Jackson with the Rev. Jerry Sander officiating.

Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Millersville.'

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at McComb's Funeral Chapel.
