MICHAEL SCHUCHART

SIKESTON - Joseph Michael Schuchart, Jr., 16, of Lenexa, Kan., formerly of Sikeston, died Friday, April 23, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam, Kan., of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 5, 1976, in Sikeston, to Joseph M. Schuchart, Sr., and Kay Cruce Calhoun Schuchart.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Mike Calhoun of Lenexa; the paternal grandmother, Alma Schuchart of Sikeston, and the maternal grandmother, Emma N. Cruce of Farmington. He was preceded in death by his father, the paternal grandfather, Emil Schuchart, Sr., and his maternal grandfather, D.R. Cruce.

Michael was a junior honor student at Shawnee Mission West High School in Lenexa.

Friends may call at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 6-8 p.m., today. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, in the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Monsignor William Stanton officiating. Burial will take place in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
