Helen B. McMahan, 55, 1232 Larry, died Thursday, April 29, 1993, at her home. She was born July 19, 1937, in Perry County, Ind., daughter of Charles and Verna Bolin Mattingly. She and Donald McMahan were married Jan. 21, 1982, in Cape Girardeau. McMahan had been a registered nurse/clinical supervisor at St. Francis Medical Center since 1982, and was a trauma nurse specialist. She was a member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and was treasurer of VFW Auxiliary in McClure, Ill...

She was born July 19, 1937, in Perry County, Ind., daughter of Charles and Verna Bolin Mattingly. She and Donald McMahan were married Jan. 21, 1982, in Cape Girardeau.

McMahan had been a registered nurse/clinical supervisor at St. Francis Medical Center since 1982, and was a trauma nurse specialist. She was a member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and was treasurer of VFW Auxiliary in McClure, Ill.

She attended Solano Community College in Solano, Calif.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Vicki Hendrick of Cape Girardeau, Audrey Gordon of Benton, Ky.; three sons, Eugene Kallbreier and James McMahan of The Colony, Texas, Robert Kallbreier of Doniphan; her mother of McClure; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Art Kelley will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
