TAMMS, Ill. -- Norma Kay Murphy, 55, of Tamms died May 2, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born in Tamms on Oct. 25, 1937, to N.F. "Duke" Heater and Beulah Lamburth Heater. Her mother survives.

She married Donald Murphy on June 17, 1956. He survives.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tamms.

She also is survived by a daughter, Melinda Bigham; a stepfather, Floyd Ford of Tamms; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms with the Rev. Bill Fox officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
