SCOTT CITY -- Amy Nora Statler, 87, of Scott City Route 2 died Friday, May 14, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Nov. 24, 1905 in Monterey, daughter of Jacob Watts and Marcella Alcorn Hasty. On Nov. 24, 1927, she married Silas Jefferson Statler. He died on July 31, 1965...

SCOTT CITY -- Amy Nora Statler, 87, of Scott City Route 2 died Friday, May 14, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Nov. 24, 1905 in Monterey, daughter of Jacob Watts and Marcella Alcorn Hasty.

On Nov. 24, 1927, she married Silas Jefferson Statler. He died on July 31, 1965.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City.

Surviving are one daughter Joyce Rubel of Scott City; a sister, Mamie Middleton of Monterey; and one grandchild.

Nine brothers and one grandchild preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City from 8 a.m. until noon today.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Terry Eades and the Rev. Thomas Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
