CLETA GREAR

ANNA, Ill. - Cleta Grear, 86, of Jonesboro, Ill., died Saturday, May 22, 1993, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born June 8, 1906, in Union County, to H.C. and Fannie A. Ellis Grear

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Dollar of Jonesboro, one nephew, Jim Grear; five nieces, Alice Keller, Donna Jean Edwards, Beth Pearl, Sharon Gilbert and Jean Warren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ellis Grear, and one sister, Mary Berrier.

Grear taught school in Union County for 42 years before retiring from the Jonesboro Elementary School. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jonesboro.

Friends may call after 6 p.m., today, and on Monday, until time of funeral services, at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 1 p.m., in the Crain Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Cooley officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
