BENTON -- Jimmy Robinson, 73, Benton Route 1, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, June 4, 1993, at Charleston Manor. He was born Nov. 29, 1918, in Lexie, Ark., son of Benny and Viola Robinson. BENTON -- Jimmy Robinson, 73, Benton Route 1, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, June 4, 1993, at Charleston Manor.

He was born Nov. 29, 1918, in Lexie, Ark., son of Benny and Viola Robinson.

Survivors include three sons, William, Willie and Joseph Robinson of Detroit, Mich.; six daughters, Viola Robinson, Shirley Davis, Rose Robinson, all of Detroit; Betty Wallace and Flora Lawson of St. Louis, Carolyn Welch of Wilson City; three brothers, Herman, William and Ora Robinson of Dowagic; six sisters, Alethea Robinson of Benton Harbor, Mich., Henrietta Robinson of Wilson City, Alice Spirit, Aster Wade and Rosie Robinson of Charleston, Earnestine Robinson of Detroit, and 17 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at noon Friday at Sparks Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Murry Williams will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 tonight, and after 11 a.m. Friday.
