SIKESTON -- Valley Junior Worth, 67, of Euclaire, Mich., died Tuesday, June 8, 1993, at the Veterans Hospital in Battle Creek, Mich.

He was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Portageville, son of Valley and Julie Rettig Worth.

Worth was a tool and die maker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Ken Worth of Ocala, Fla., Valley Worth of North Richland, Texas; a daughter, Trinda Barkley of South Carolina; eight brothers, W.H. Worth of Essex, Loranze Worth of Flint, Mich., Lewis Worth of Texas, Bill Worth of Clearwater, Fla., Ronnie Worth of Sikeston, Truman and Richard Worth of Vassar, Mich., Eugene Worth of Florida; two sisters, Juanita Cravens of Fenton, Mich., Ellen Walker of Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and three brothers.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Henry Jordan will officiate, with burial in Portageville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
