THEBES, Ill. -- Edna Hiller, 85, of Thebes, died Wednesday, June 16, 1993, at Randolph County Nursing Home in Sparta. She was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., daughter of Nicholas Bernard and Irene Leota McNulty Gregory. She and Robert Cletus Hiller were married in 1928. He died Jan. 26, 1978...

THEBES, Ill. -- Edna Hiller, 85, of Thebes, died Wednesday, June 16, 1993, at Randolph County Nursing Home in Sparta.

She was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., daughter of Nicholas Bernard and Irene Leota McNulty Gregory. She and Robert Cletus Hiller were married in 1928. He died Jan. 26, 1978.

Hiller was a member of Thebes Baptist Church and Thebes Women's Club.

Survivors include a son, Robert Hiller of Ellis Grove; a daughter, Priscilla Hiller of Kirkland; a sister, Elmyra Scott of Mt. Vernon; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Tamms. The Rev. Carl Fisher will officiate, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
