William J. Schroeder, 92, of Perryville, died Wednesday, June 23, 1993, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. He was born Jan. 27, 1901, at Crosstown, son of John and Mary Petot Schroeder. He married Anna Kirn April 19, 1927. She died Feb. 16, 1992...

William J. Schroeder, 92, of Perryville, died Wednesday, June 23, 1993, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.

He was born Jan. 27, 1901, at Crosstown, son of John and Mary Petot Schroeder.

He married Anna Kirn April 19, 1927. She died Feb. 16, 1992.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish in Perryville.

Survivors are sons, Rudy and Paul Schroeder, both of Perryville, and Leroy Schroeder, Rochester, N.Y; a sister, Chlora Cashion, Perryville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A brother and four sisters also preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church by the Rev. Edward Wilson. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

A parish wake service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
