SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Wilma Pauline Goolsby of Sikeston was held Saturday at Ponder Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ed Pangburn officiated, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Goolsby, 86, died Thursday, July 1, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 22, 1906, in Princeton, Ind., daughter of Oscar Leroy and Mattie Dougan. She married Charles Goolsby, who died Sept. 16, 1972.

Goolsby was a member of First Christian Church and New Madrid Extension Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Doyle of Sikeston; a brother, Morris Dougan of Hillsboro; two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren.
