PERRYVILLE -- Leo H. VanDeven, 80, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 6, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 15, 1912, at Leopold, son of John and Josephine Fels VanDeven. He and Trula C. Meyer were married Oct. 14, 1939.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Leo A. VanDeven, of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Arthur VanDeven of Chicago, Elmer VanDeven of Leopold; four sisters, Rose Holcen of Leopold, Nora Englemeyer of Florida, Verna of Hawaii, Adelle of Virginia; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
He was a 4th Degree with Knights of Columbus, and also a member of St. Joseph Men's organization.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church in Apple Creek, with the Rev. John Bolderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. today. A wake service and KC service will be held at 7:30.
