Ellen M. Fischer, 82, 1215 N. Main, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Aug. 16, 1910, in Advance, daughter of Arthur and Martha Baker Ward. She and Raymond Fischer were married Nov. 29, 1927, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1989.

Fischer was a stamper at International and Florsheim Shoe Companies 47 years, retiring in 1973. She was an avid crafts worker.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmie Fischer of Cape Girardeau, Dennis Fischer of Villa Ridge; three sisters, Lucy Harmon of Cape Girardeau, Norma Dale of Broseley, Merle Sullinger of Advance, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and brother.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steven MacDougall will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
