HAZEL L. JOHNSON

Hazel L. Johnson, 80, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, July 28, 1993, at Ratliff Nursing Home.

She was born May 20, 1913, at Leemon, daughter of Forrest and Fannie McClard. She and Oral Russell Johnson were married July 31, 1930, at Jackson. He died in December 1980.

Johnson was a member of Four Square Church many years, but had recently attended Faith Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include two sons, James "Jay" Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Oral Johnson of Pekin, Ill.; a daughter, Delores Tackett, Jackson Route 4; a sister, Fern Wills of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Doyle Randol will officiate, with burial in Iona Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
