ERMA ELLEN MILAM

BENTON -- Erma Ellen Milam, 74, of Benton, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1993, at the Miner Nursing Center in Miner, Mo.

She was born Oct. 8, 1918, at Mayfield, Mo., daughter of Coy Noole and Carrie Ellen Greene Mayfield.

She married Leo Milam, July 12, 1938, at Maynard, Ark.

Milam was a retired machine operator of the Thorngate Limited company at Chaffee.

She was a member of the Morley Baptist Church in Morley, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Milam of Lewisville, Texas; a daughter, Ruth Black of Millington, Tenn.; two brothers, Crulus Mayfield of Morley, Mo., Odell Mayfield of Sikeston; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.

There will be a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Brockett Cemetery in Pocahontas, Ark.; burial will follow.
