ERWIN FRED SCHILLING

PERRYVILLE -- Erwin Fred Schilling, 76, of Perryville died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born April 22, 1917 in Frohna, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schilling.

He was a self-employed painter.

On July 16, 1986, he married Ruth L. Rust in Ste. Genevieve. She survives of Perryville.

Surviving are four sons, Glen Erwin, Charles, Russell and Timmy Schilling, all of Perryville; one daughter, Nancy Strother of Atlanta; two stepsons, Scott and Samuel Whitsel, both of Cape Girardeau; one stepdaughter, LaDonna Winchester of Fruitland; four brothers, Ruben Schilling of Arnold, Clarence Schilling of Jackson, Senno Schilling of Cape Girardeau and Raymond Schilling of Appleton; two sisters, Dorey Petzoldt of Frohna and Larna Dryer of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville with the Rev. Don Loesch officiating.
