Hilde M. Lowes, 66, of Jackson died Aug. 29, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1927, in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Albert and Agnes Mayer. She was married Nov. 23, 1948, to Marvin H. Lowes. He died Dec. 21, 1986. She was a production worker for the Lee-Rowan Co. in Jackson, retiring in 1992...

Hilde M. Lowes, 66, of Jackson died Aug. 29, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 30, 1927, in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Albert and Agnes Mayer.

She was married Nov. 23, 1948, to Marvin H. Lowes. He died Dec. 21, 1986.

She was a production worker for the Lee-Rowan Co. in Jackson, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and its Bible study group in Jackson.

Surviving are two sons, David Alan Lowes of Jackson and Robert Lynn Lowes of St. Louis; one sister, Irmengarde Meier of Munich, Germany; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Chapel in Jackson with the Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating.

Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
