MARIE SIEMERS

Funeral service for Marie Cecilia Siemers of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Jim Caughlan will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Siemers, 86, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born May 25, 1907, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard O. and Marie Baehre Spalding. She and Clarence Siemers were married Nov. 26, 1927. He died April 30, 1933.

Siemers retired in 1951 from International Shoe Co.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and a sister.
