MOUNDS, Ill. -- Gwendolyn McClure, 83, of Mounds, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1993, at Cape LaCroix Manor in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born Aug. 26, 1910, at Mounds, daughter of John and Gertrude Williams Prim. McClure was a retired psychiatric aide at Elgin State Hospital. MOUNDS, Ill. -- Gwendolyn McClure, 83, of Mounds, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1993, at Cape LaCroix Manor in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Aug. 26, 1910, at Mounds, daughter of John and Gertrude Williams Prim.

McClure was a retired psychiatric aide at Elgin State Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mounds.

Survivors include a daughter, Venita Riehl of Scott City, Mo.; a sister, Maxine Crippen of Mounds; a brother, Harold Prim of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkett Funeral Chapel in Mounds. The Rev. Verlee Eaker will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
