CHARLESTON -- Vanettea Burton, 82, of Charleston, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Aug. 13, 1911, in Pine Bluff, Ark., daughter of Robert and Sarah Oliver.
Burton was a member of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Albert Burton, and a sister, Rosie Carson of Charleston.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Church. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Friday.
