Funeral service for Charles H. Hager Jr., 300 Mill, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. John Gourley will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Hager, 77, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 23, 1916, near Oran, son of Charles and Nannie Harrison Hager Sr. He and Grace Widner were married Oct. 16, 1936, at Benton.

Hager farmed near Bell City until moving to Cape Girardeau in 1956. He worked at Landgraf Lumber, and retired from Leming Sawmill in 1978. He was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Joe Hager of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Rose Hawk of Cape Girardeau, Linda Hess of Jackson; a sister, Fannie Stone of Chaffee; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
