DOROTHY M. CROSS

CHARLESTON -- Dorothy Marie Cross, 77, of Charleston, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1993, at Sikeston Health Care.

She was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Mississippi County, daughter of James Arthur and Berdie Mary Fox Brown. She and Dillon Cross were married July 11, 1931. He died May 26, 1984.

Cross was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jere Tidwell of Northbrook, Ill.; three brothers, Paul Brown of Englewood, Fla., George Brown of St. Louis, David Brown of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Hazel Williams of Wyatt; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Glenn Rogers will officiate, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
