PERRYVILLE -- Richard A. "Stone" Courtois Jr., 42, of Perryville, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 18, 1951, in Shirley, Mass., son of Richard and Theresa Kirn Courtois Sr. of Perryville. Courtois was a self-employed logger and sawmill operator. PERRYVILLE -- Richard A. "Stone" Courtois Jr., 42, of Perryville, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 18, 1951, in Shirley, Mass., son of Richard and Theresa Kirn Courtois Sr. of Perryville.

Courtois was a self-employed logger and sawmill operator. He was a member of Wood Miser Million Board Foot Club, KDHX Community Radio Club, and booster member of St. Louis Symphony.

Survivors include a son and daughter, Alexis and Andrea Courtois of Silver Spring, Md.; his parents; a brother, Ronald Courtois of Perryville; two sisters, Susan Cox of Florissant, and Mary McIntyre of Melbourne, Fla.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.
