JACKSON -- Linda Kranawetter, 76, of Route 1, Jackson died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 7, 1916, at Tilsit, the daughter of Martin and Alma Macke Fluegge. On Aug. 16, 1941, she married Arnold Kranawetter, who survives of the home.

She had lived on the family farm near Fruitland since 1941. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Tilsit, but since 1941, was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Pocahontas. She also was a member of the Ladies Aid, and a past member of the Pocahontas Homemakers Club and 4-H.

Other survivors include three sons, James Kranawetter of Route 4, Jackson, Edward Kranawetter of Route 1, Jackson, and Daniel Kranawetter of Route 4, Jackson; two brothers, Norman and Melvin Fluegge, both of St. Louis; five sisters, Olga Free of Chaffee, Esther Davis of St. Louis, Ruth Steinhoff of St. Louis, and Rosmond Welker and Janice Newell, both of Jackson; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and three brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McComb's Funeral Chapel in Jackson, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate, and burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pocahontas.
