DONGOLA, Ill. -- James L. Redcloud, 56, of Dongola died Friday, Jan. 3, 1992, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.

He was born April 28, 1935, in Perks, Ill., the son of Orville H. and Hazel Beaver Redcloud.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola and was sales representative for Lewis Brothers Bakeries.

Survivors include four sons, Mark Redcloud of Sikeston, Paul and T. J. Redcloud, both of Dongola, and David Redcloud of Newport News, Va.; a daughter, Melissa Crippen of Dongola, his mother, Hazel Redcloud of Anna; a sister, Alice Isom of Anna; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father on Jan. 6, 1982.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. A. W. Landis will officiate, and burial will be in the Meisenheimer/Mt. Olive Cemetery.
