Flora Evans, 74, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Jan. 3, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Nov. 17, 1917, in West Point, Miss. Survivors include her husband, James Evans Sr.; two daughters, Christine Evans of Cape Girardeau, Doris Reseld of St. Louis; two sons, James Evans Jr. and Milbert Evans of St. Louis; two sisters, Lucille Barnes of Gary, Ind., Maggie Rowland of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Roosevelt Edwards of Chicago; 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren...

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Second Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Sparks Funeral Home at Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
