PERRYVILLE -- Estella Ann Slater, 81, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1992, at Perry County Hospital.

She was born Feb. 26, 1910, at Ste. Genevieve, daughter of Joseph and Josephine Trautman Kohm. She married Walter F. Slater Sept. 27, 1952, who died in 1961.

Slater was a retired seamstress.

Survivors include a son, Oliver Martin Jr. of Perryville; six daughters, Dorothy Nappier and Virginia Bell of Overland, Bernetta Heberlie, Patricia Heberlie, Shirley Buck and Kay Kendelle, all of Perryville; two sisters, Loretta Rudy of St. Louis, Erma Meadows of Overland; a half brother, Henry Palmer of St. Louis; 37 grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, three sisters and two half sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Henry Grodecki will officiate, with burial in Mt. Lebannon Cemetery in St. Louis.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service.
