MCGEE -- Ella Mae Van Matre, 62, of St. Louis, formerly of McGee, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1992, at Incarnate Word Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born March 31, 1929, at Whitewater, daughter of John and Alice Kennison Huffman. She and Horace Van Matre were married Aug. 7, 1947, in Piggott, Ark.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Edmond Van Matre of St. Louis, and a brother, Weldon Huffman of Pontiac, Mich.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a brother.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park near Marble Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:30-9 p.m. today.
