RUTH E. ELFRANK

MARBLE HILL -- Ruth E. Elfrank, 97, of Las Cruces, N.M. and formerly of Marble Hill died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1992, at her home.

She was born April 28, 1894, in Bollinger County, the daughter of Andrew and Dora Gladish Abernathy. She was married to Charles A. Elfrank Sr., who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Charles Elfrank Jr. of St. Louis; a daughter, Margaret Day of Las Cruces; a brother, Lehmam Abernathy of Peoria, Ill.; and two sisters Irmogene DeBerry and Virginia Wagner, both of Okeechobee, Fla..

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Baker Cemetery in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Don Powers officiating. Victory Chapter #431 also will conduct an Eastern Star service.

There will be no visitation, and Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
