MARY ELLEN NANCE

SIKESTON -- Mary Ellen Nance, 83, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 26, 1908, in Hardin County, Tenn., daughter of John K. and Ida Prince Northcutt. She and William S. Nance were married Jan. 3, 1932, in Hardin County. He died May 2, 1969.

Survivors include three sons, Loel Nance of Sikeston, Lynn Nance of the home, Bill Nance of Germantown, Tenn.; four daughters, Emma Owen and Carolyn Hawes of Sikeston, Cewilla Pyatt of North Little Rock, Ark., Doris Shain of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Dwight Northcutt of Calvert City, Ky.; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelly Grubbs will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
