CHAFFEE -- Amanda S. Baronowsky, 86, of Chaffee, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 20, 1906, at Oran, daughter of Frank Lawrence and Sophia Goetz Heisserer. She married Charles Joseph Baronowsky Sept. 22, 1928, in St. Louis. He died March 15, 1956.

Baronowsky was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose, and Chaffee VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Alfultis of Lakewood, Colo., Carol Baronowsky of Florissant; two brothers, Cornelius Heisserer of Chaffee, George Heisserer of St. Louis; four sisters, Lorena Pobst and Ethel Schlosser of Oran, Freda Burger of Cape Girardeau, Viola Dannenmueller of St. Louis; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church. The Rev. John Cantore will officiate, with burial in Guardian Angel Cemetery at Oran.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be at 7.
