STEVEN DALE MAYFIELD

SIKESTON -- Steven Dale Mayfield, 17, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 1992, at his home of unknown natural causes.

He was born Sept. 1, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, son of Gene O. and Evelyn E. Killian Mayfield.

Mayfield was a junior at Sikeston High School, and worked at Fisherman's Net.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Gene and Carolyn Mayfield; his mother and stepfather, Evelyn and James Buffington; a brother, Russell Mayfield, all of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Lester and Irene Mayfield of Morley, and maternal grandparents, John and Jewell Killian of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother.

Funeral service was held Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Matthews officiated, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
