SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Dale T. Propst of Sedgwickville died Monday, March 9, 1992, at his home. He was 87. He was born March 6, 1905, in Bollinger County, son of the late James and Cecilia Barks Propst. SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Dale T. Propst of Sedgwickville died Monday, March 9, 1992, at his home. He was 87.

He was born March 6, 1905, in Bollinger County, son of the late James and Cecilia Barks Propst. He married Annie Broeker, and she preceded him in death in 1957. He married Beulah Austin on March 25, 1960. She survives.

Surviving also are two sons, Dale Propst of Ste. Genevieve and Carrol Propst of Hillsboro; a daughter, Mildred Besher of Mountain View; three stepdaughters, Lucille Moser of Van Wert, Ohio, Mildred Surface of Grassy, and Maxine Friedrich of Jackson; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, and 18 step great grandchildren.

One brother preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Crossroads Methodist Church at Crossroads.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons, with the Rev. Fred Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.
