RUBY STRONG

JACKSON -- Miss Ruby Strong died at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center Saturday, March 14, 1992. Strong, 91 years old, was born Nov. 11, 1901, at Burfordville, daughter of E. Marion Strong and Virginia Gladish Strong. She was a retired school teacher. She taught in the St. Louis area until her retirement in 1967...

JACKSON -- Miss Ruby Strong died at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center Saturday, March 14, 1992.

Strong, 91 years old, was born Nov. 11, 1901, at Burfordville, daughter of E. Marion Strong and Virginia Gladish Strong.

She was a retired school teacher. She taught in the St. Louis area until her retirement in 1967.

She is survived by several nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the New McKendree United Methodist Church, the Naomi Circle, Chapter 91, of the church and Order of Eastern Star, where she had received a 50-year pin.

Service will be held at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday, with Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
