Richard J. Divine, 49, died Wednesday, March 11, 1992, at his home, 1111 Themis. He was born Oct. 23, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of James L. Divine and Mae Emerson. Richard J. Divine, 49, died Wednesday, March 11, 1992, at his home, 1111 Themis.

He was born Oct. 23, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of James L. Divine and Mae Emerson.

He is survived by one son, Richard J. Divine Jr. of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Gloria, of California; and one brother, Doug Divine, West Palm Beach, Fla.

He was a veteran of the Navy and an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration for 22 years.

He was a past air controller at the Cape Girardeau airport also.

The body was cremated. Arrangements were handled by Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.
