ULLIN, Ill. -- Beatrice M. Adkins, 72, of Ullin, died Friday, March 13, 1992, at her home. She was born Feb. 17, 1920, at Mounds, daughter of Eulis and Flora Belle Hiatt Rainwater. ULLIN, Ill. -- Beatrice M. Adkins, 72, of Ullin, died Friday, March 13, 1992, at her home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1920, at Mounds, daughter of Eulis and Flora Belle Hiatt Rainwater. She married John T. Adkins March 26, 1936. He died Jan. 15, 1988.

Adkins was a member of First Baptist Churach here.

Survivors include two daughters, Ferban Short of Ullin, Shirley Law of Mahomet; two sons, Miles and Terrell Adkins of Ullin; four sisters, Corinne Clancy of Kansas City, Kan., Juanita Kampschroder of Overland Park, Kan., Gladys Larry of Olmsted, Flora Wilson of Deer Creek, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Greg Forbus will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin after 5 p.m. today, and after noon Monday at the church.
