Franklin Holliday, 89, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, April 27, 1992, at Fellowship Nursing Home in Warrenton. He was born July 17, 1902, near Greenville, son of Frank and Willa Tong Holliday. Franklin Holliday, 89, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, April 27, 1992, at Fellowship Nursing Home in Warrenton.

He was born July 17, 1902, near Greenville, son of Frank and Willa Tong Holliday. He married Johnnie Mae Croy, who died in 1991.

Holliday was district salesman with Standard Oil Co. more than 35 years, retiring in 1960. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1925 from Greenville.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Holliday of Wright City, Harlan Holliday of Canton, N.Y.; a daughter, Kitty Mazina of Charlotte, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
