EAST PRAIRIE -- Bessie Harmon, 94, of the Bertrand Retirement Home, died Monday, May 4, 1992, following an extended illness. She was formerly of East Prairie.
She was born Aug. 18, 1897, in Idalia, daughter of Jess and Josephine Lowery.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, including Della Payne of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters and two brothers.
Shelby Funeral Home here was in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation or service.
